Dedicated intuitive Thompson welder software package, HMI and controls enable the delivery of industry proven rotary friction welding processes, that satisfy even the most challenging of material bonds, for mission critical applications in industries such as: automotive, oil and gas, power generation and exploration.
Integration of Thompsons’ software enables a number of benefits to our customers, including, but not limited to: remote diagnostic support, video monitoring, faster diagnostics and close monitoring of weld parameters offering total traceability.
Thompsons’ software can be utilised to configure and then transfer PC based applications to and from the HMI software for swift run time and/or development, underpinned by local, first line or remote customer support developed across the KUKA Global Network.
The software is unique to Thompson Friction Welding. The open platform design, however, typically runs on a Windows-based computer platform.
The machines can be configured with either Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC’s.
