subcontract friction welding

Trusting an industry leader Subcontracting your industrial joining projects

Subcontract friction welding solutions are delivered out of our Halesowen facility and provide the perfect solution for businesses who may have irregular, low volume runs, require an end-to-end service that includes consultation or don’t have the technology in house to undertake their own rotary friction welding.

Such is our belief in the machines that we develop, all of the subcontract friction welding projects we undertake, are delivered using the Thompson Friction Welding machines. To compliment this technology, there are, on premise, several additional machines and processes that support a subcontract service  that is second to none, that includes a metallurgical laboratory.

Sub contract, rotational friction welding solutions from Thompson meet the expectations of modern production processes.

One key advantage of subcontract rotary friction welding is the diversity and range of solid materials that can be joined using our range of friction welding machines. Changing product iterations are no challenge for us – Big or small, we have the technology to help.

Just some of the benefits attributed to subcontract friction welding are shown below. Or, if you’d like to see our machines in action, why not drop us a line, we’d love to see you!

Alternatively, why not read our subcontract friction welding brochure?
